In 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers reviewed and tightened the criteria under which a company can even apply for the right to reserve employees: in particular, requirements for the enterprise’s average salary were raised \u2014 it must be no lower than two or three times the national average salary, depending on the number of employees \u2014 and employer criticality will be reviewed centrally by September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It sounds dry, but behind it is a simple fact: not every company that promises reservation in a job posting can actually deliver it. The state regularly checks whether an enterprise still meets the criteria \u2014 and if not, the status is revoked. So a job with reservation at a genuinely critically important company isn’t an HR manager’s promise \u2014 it’s the result of a government check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Construction consistently appears on the list of industries where reservation is offered most often \u2014 alongside manufacturing, logistics, and transport. The reason is simple: a country that’s rebuilding and defending itself at the same time cannot afford to halt construction sites tied to state contracts. That makes a qualified construction worker, welder, or technical specialist at such a company not “extra manpower,” but part of what the state has officially recognized as critical to the country’s functioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That’s exactly why, when a company works on state contracts and holds critically important enterprise status, a job with reservation stops being a line in a vacancy listing and becomes part of the essence of the work itself \u2014 building what the country cannot survive without, while having legal certainty about tomorrow as you do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
